Before the ride begins, we match each rider with a horse fit for both their age and riding ability.

We conduct the rides on our familes' working cattle ranch. We also ride under permit on the Gallatin National Forest lands, located in the area of the Absaroka Moutain range, north of Yellowstone National Park.

We will make every effort to ensure that your ride with us in Montana will be one of the most enjoyable and unforgettable experiences of your life.

A rustic weekend getaway that takes you to the peaceful and intimate Stands Basin. With no running water or electricity. Guests will be "roughing it" , but Flying Diamond has been hosting guests in these cabins for over four decades and continually make our guests comfortable with wholesome hospitality and the cozy ambiance of a rugged setting. This trip is completely customizable with the amount or riding that each guest prefers, and will never go hungry with the hearty meals.

The homestead in Stand's basin is located in a mountain valley beside a small stream. Ride up on nearby ridges with views that only Montana can offer. Breath taking scenery, wildlife, good horses and good times await you.
